Today, TIME Magazine unveiled its annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Among the notable inclusions? None other than Queen Bey herself, who made history late last year with the surprise release of her self-titled fifth album. Beyoncé appears on the cover of the magazine, as you can see above.

Pharrell Williams, who delivered some of the year’s biggest hit singles, and controversial pop star Miley Cyrus were the two other musicians to receive nods.

Each of the 100 honorees received entires justifying their inclusion, written by various celebrities. Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg wrote for Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake penned his love for Pharrell, and Dolly Parton did one for Miley Cyrus. Read key passes from each entry below.

On Beyoncé, Sheryl Sandberg writes…

In the past year, Beyoncé has sold out the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour while being a full-time mother. Her secret: hard work, honesty and authenticity. And her answer to the question, What would you do if you weren’t afraid? appears to be “Watch me. I’m about to do it.” Then she adds, “You can, too.”

On Pharrell, Justin Timberlake writes…

He injects that vibrant energy into the music in a way that you can feel. Whether it’s the chord changes that remind you of another time or the melody that instantly grabs you, you are transported to another place. You smile, you dance, you clap along. His music actually does make you happy.

On Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton writes…

If I didn’t know how smart and talented Miley is, I might worry about her. But I’ve watched her grow up. So I don’t. She knows what she’s doing.

Last year’s Influential People list included Jay Z, Frank Ocean, and Miguel, in addition to Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake. Kanye West was on the shortlist for this year’s list, but failed to receive final inclusion. I’m sure we’ll hear more about the snubbing in the follow-up to Yeezus.
