Coachella reveals TV broadcast schedule for Weekend Two

As previously reported, Coachella will offer a live broadcast of weekend two for the first time. Over 20 hours of festival-related content, including performances, interviews, and more, will be shown on AXS TV.

The live broadcast begins each night at 9:00pm ET and will be re-aired the following day at 2:00pm ET. The schedule includes Arcade Fire, Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, Nas, Lorde, Bryan Ferry, MGMT HAIM, Pixies, CHVRCHES, Future Islands, Neko Case, and Foster the People, among others.

Friday, April 18th:
HAIM, Neko Case, Neko Case, Ellie Goulding, Broken Bells, Chromeo, Grouplove, Bastille, Bryan Ferry, Kate Nash, ZZ Ward, and AFI

Saturday, April 19th:
Lorde, Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, CHVRCHES, The Head and the Heart, Capital Cities, Future Islands, MGMT, Fatboy Slim, and Foster the People

Sunday, April 20th:
Arcade Fire, Beck, Fishbone, Frank Turner, Big Gigantic, Daughter, Calvin Harris, Skrillex (From Saturday), Pet Shop Boys (From Saturday), NAS (From Saturday)

Monday, April 21st:
Re-air of Day Three of our Coachella broadcast at 2p ET

Worst coverage EVER. Im proud of those artists who chose NOT to have their sets televised on AXS.

But what they don’t tell you is that AXS TV is a Premium Channel that you have to SUBSCRIBE to….at least on Comcast in the SF Bay Area it is. This sucks!

Yeah, the Replacements aren’t getting aired, either. Somehow (in both cases) I think it might be more down to the bands telling YouTube and AXS to go fuck themselves, not wanting to have their sets bootlegged. (Or making any money off of them, pick one.)

Any reason why Motorhead is not being streamed last week or this week? There are a lot of similar bands being shown and these legends get snubbed? Why even invite them in the first place?
