This week, every night of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will be must-see TV. With the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony taking place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday night, Fallon has booked a number of the participating musicians to appear on the show.

No doubt the biggest highlight is Nirvana’s Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, who are scheduled to appear on Wednesday night’s episode. Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks is listed as the evening’s musical guest, though seeing as that her and Grohl have a history together, fingers crossed for some sort of on-stage collaboration.

On Monday night, Nas will perform alongside Q-Tip. Tuesday will feature Yusuf Islam, a.k.a. Cat Stevens, as the musical guest, performing with The Roots. And on Friday, KISS will rock The Tonight Show studio.

Of course, Nirvana, Islam, and KISS are all set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Nicks, meanwhile, will perform a tribute to Linda Ronstadt.

Below, watch our recent interview with Tonight Show music booker Jonathan Cohen discussing how the show manages to get such great acts.

There is no Nirvana without Kurt Cobain. The only thing that will occur secondary to the press using this term is some sort of reformation of the group. At least then you will have another band to add to your list of bands that ruined their legacies. I know it takes more print, but that is Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, not Nirvana.
