Watch: Janelle Monáe joins OutKast for “Hey Ya!” at CounterPoint Festival

With Coachella in the rearview mirror, OutKast returned home on Sunday night for a headlining performance at the CounterPoint Music Festival in Kingston Downs, GA.

Spanning 24 songs, OutKast played the exact same setlist as they did during Coachella weekend two. However, this time around, they were joined by Janelle Monáe, who emphatically danced along on-stage as André 3000 sang “Hey Ya!”. Watch fan captured video of the moment below.

Dungeon Family members Killer Mike and Sleepy Brown also made cameos during the set. See the full the setlist below.

OutKast’s next stop on their 40 festival run is at the Big Guava Music Festival in Tampa, FL.

This show was great! I have been hearing a lot of negative things about there coachella performance, but i just don’t see why? They played the same show right? Maybe it was the energy of Outkast, and the crowd of us from atlanta that grew up listening to them, but there was something very special about being at this show. Sooooooo good!
