on May 22, 2014, 3:12pm

Made in America has revealed the 2014 lineup for its Los Angeles festival. As previously reported, the Jay Z-curated festival will stage bi-costal events for the first time over Labor Day weekend; the L.A. installment will take place on the steps of city hall and in the surrounding Grand Park, while the Philadelphia installment will occur at Ben Franklin Parkway.

The lineup for Made in America Los Angeles includes Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, ScHoolboy Q, Weezer, Rise Against, John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Sublime with Rome, Cypress Hill, Metric, and Juanes.

Also playing are Afrojack, Wolfgang Gartner, Dr. Dog, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, SZA, Hit-Boy, Classixx, Nipsey Hussle, Rita Ora, ZZ Ward, DJ Mustard, Capital Cities, Borgore, YG, 12th Planet, Mute Math, and A Tribe Called Red, among others.

Meanwhile, as revealed earlier today, the Made in America Philadelphia will feature Kanye West, Kings of Leon, The National, Pharrell Williams, Spoon, Grimes, Chromeo, Girl Talk, and De La Soul, among others.

Tickets to both festivals are currently available through MadeinAmericaFest.com.

Speaking of Los Angeles, Gabriel Kahane wrote 10 songs inspired by buildings in the city – gets me in the L.A. mindset.

Really disappointed in the LA lineup! I’m selling tickets

Imagine Dragons, Capital Cities and Metric are pretty cool too I forgot to add. It’s a MUSIC FESTIVAL! For people that know and listen to music.

What’s everybody bitching about? Kendrick Lamar, YG, SchoolBoy Q, Nipsey Hussle, DJ Mustard and Cypress Hill are some of the hottest LA rappers right now and in the past ( in Cypress’s case). Jay clearly understood that and has them performing instead of some dudes that have no connection to the city, if you didn’t know that then how the fuck do you say you’re from LA. Aside from Kanye West and maybe J. Cole, who the fuck are the other rappers performing in Philly? Nobody wants to listen to Pharrell and his happy song. Just because you don’t recognize the names, it doesn’t mean they’re garbage. Even Steve Aoki, Afrojack, and WolfGang Gartner are dope ass DJs. Rise Against, Weezer and Sublime are cool bands as well. Fly your ass over to Philly if you think their lineup is so much better.

This is the worst music festival lineup I have ever seen. Not even exaggerating. This lineup makes me feel bad for complaining about the Lolla lineup.
