Jack White performs with The Kills, gets plug pulled, keeps playing anyway

on June 27, 2014, 12:40pm

In anticipation of his appearance at Glastonbury this weekend, Jack White performed a show at Dublin’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham alongside The Kills. As one would hope, over the course of the 25-song set, White collaborated with Kills frontwoman and Dead Weather bandmate Alison Mosshart, first inviting her on-stage for “Love Interruption” and later, Mosshart and Kills bandmate Jamie Hince for “Goodnight, Irene”. In fact, during “Goodnight, Irene” the venue pulled the plug due to curfew, but White and Co. kept playing anyway.

It lashed rain from the very 1st song to the very last, as it only would in Ireland. It takes a performance that good for that not to matter!
