Chicago-based neo-soul singer Tom Krell aka How to Dress Well is releasing his third album, “What Is This Heart?”, on June 24th via Weird World/Domino. In anticipation, it’s streaming in full at WhatisThisHeart.com.
Spanning 12 tracks, “What Is This Heart?” is the follow-up to 2012′s excellent Total Loss. It was produced and recorded by Rodaidh McDonald (Vampire Weekend, The xx, Adele) in Berlin. According to the press materials, the album “takes influence from artists as varied as Prince, Lou Reed, Burial and Tracy Chapman.”
Pre-orders are ongoing. Among the configurations available, a deluxe version containing a 28-page photo booklet and bonus 10-inch featuring two non-album tracks, “So Easy for Pleasure” and “Let U Know”.
