Guys, you’re never going to believe it, but Arcade Fire covered another band’s song during their show in Washington, DC on Sunday night. The band celebrated local hardcore legends Fugazi with a rendition of “Waiting Room”, a song which has previously been covered by everybody from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Black Flag. Watch the fan-shot footage below.

The setlist also included the Reflektor outtake “Get Right”, marking the band’s first performance of the song since May. Via Vaughn Sterling, also find footage of that below.

The Reflektor tour has also seen Arcade Fire cover songs by Nirvana, The Smiths, R.E.M.Feist, Neil Young, Dead Kennedys, Jane’s Addiction, and more.

Is it really newsworthy every time Arcade Fire covers a song? Maybe start a separate blog titled “What Arcade Fire Covered Tonight” for the 4 people that give a shit instead of clogging up COS.
