One of the most popular segments on James Corden’s Late Late Show is “Carpool Karaoke,” during which the late night host picks up a famous musician and the two proceed to sing-scream their brains out. Past editions have included Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder, and Rod Stewart with ASAP Rocky.
For the latest installment, however, the one and only Adele got to ride shotgun. She and Corden belted out her own songs including “Rolling In the Deep”, “All I Ask”, and “Someone Like You”. The biggest highlight, however, came when she rapped Nicki Minaj’s part in Kanye West’s “Monster”.
Update – Thursday, January 14th at 8:35 a.m. CT: Minaj is a fan of Adele’s “Monster” interpretation.
In between singing, Adele revealed that 25 would be the final album named after her age. “I believe in trilogies,” she explained. Watch it all below.
