Justin Timberlake has kept himself pretty darn occupied the last three years, what with his new Tennessee music festival, a role in an upcoming Woody Allen film, a Trolls movie (granted, one we didn’t really ask for), and “Can’t Stop the Feeling”, a solid entry for 2016 Song of the Summer,
Apparently, that’s not all the pop singer has up his sleeves. Come October 12th, he’ll give Netflix subscribers a front row ticket to the final show of his 20/20 Experience World Tour in the new concert film dubbed Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids. The project was directed by Oscar winner Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs) and produced by Emmy winner Gary Goetzman (That Thing You Do!, Mamma Mia!).
The concert took place in January 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Highlights from that night included “Rock Your Body”, “My Love”, “Mirrors”, and “Suit & Tie”; Timberlake also did a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature” and Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel”.
For a peek at that eventful evening, Netflix has shared the first trailer. Check it out above.
