Nearly six months after the release of Lemonade and the power of Queen Bey is still unstoppable. First Lady Michelle Obama can’t stop talking about Beyoncé while comedic programs like Saturday Night Live and The Late Late Show continue to roll out parodies of the visual album. This week, Amy Schumer tried her hand at spoofing the pop phenom by doing her own version of the “Formation” video.
The comedian busts out some dance moves in the middle of a forest and alongside a couple farm animals ’cause why not? And she’s not alone in the wilderness, either, as Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn also makes an appearance. (Hawn and Schumer are expected to star in an upcoming movie together, the former’s first in 15 years). The choreography isn’t exactly on-point with that of the original — there can only be one Bey after all — but “Get in Formation” is an amusing watch nonetheless.
