Father John Misty shares his demo of Lady Gaga’s “Come to Mama” — listen

Father John Misty has been stretching his pop chops as of late, contributing to both Beyoncé and Lady Gaga’s latest albums. With the latter record out today, Misty has shared his original demo of the track “Come to Mama”. (Of course, because it’s Josh Tillman, he spells the title “Cum to Mama”.)

The demo sounds pretty similar to what ended up on the actual album, only it’s sure to spark debate about who actually sung it better. Tillman posted the recording to his YouTube account with a note reading, “Congagarats on your release day gagaga and rondo,” presumably referring to Joanne producer Mark Ronson. “Thanks for the great times.”
