Grab your leather jacket, The Strokes are working on a new album

on October 11, 2016, 12:45pm

Worn out your copy of the Future Present Past EP? That’s okay, The Strokes are currently in the studio at work on a follow-up, as in a full-length studio album, their first since 2013’s Comedown Machine.

Guitarist Nick Valensi, out promoting his latest project CRX, confirmed the news to DIY: “We are slowly but surely working on an album. Considering how long it took the New York City rockers to dish out this year’s hit-or-miss EP, we could be in the waiting room for a little while. Which gives us plenty of time to really absorb CRX, whose debut album, New Skin, was produced by Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and is due on October 28th via Columbia Records.
