If the last 18 moths have shown anything, it’s that America is as divisive as ever, and whoever is elected president on November 8th has an insurmountable amount of work ahead of them. However, Hillary Clinton believe she has a solution for our country’s woes, one which she formally rolled out during an appearance on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Wednesday.
Yes, Clinton spent her 69th birthday on morning zoo radio, conversing with Charlamagne tha God. But don’t let the platform fool you. Serious policy was discussed.
“I keep telling people I want to close the deficit, and one of the deficits is want to close is the fun deficit,” Clinton said. “We got to close the fun deficit. I’m sick of all this meanness. And why don’t these people who support my opponent go out and fun dancing? You think they dance?”
Clinton continued, “I think we need a big national dance. Maybe bring everybody together. We got to think of something for people to do.”
Yes, Hillary Clinton’s solution for nationwide utopia is to recreate the final scene of Footloose. Welp, I guess Kenny Loggins will be replacing Chance the Rapper on the White House guest list.
Elsewhere in the interview, Clinton addressed a meme that compared her debate pantsuits to outfits worn by Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Suge Knight in the early 90s. “I think Death Row and a lot of other fashion sources have influenced my look. Don’t you?” Clinton responded. She also learned the meaning of the word “deadass”, which will be useful when she negotiates nuclear disarmament with Russia.
Near the end, Stevie Wonder made a surprise appearance to sing “Happy Birthday” to Clinton.
