Seeing Paul McCartney live is a fantastic experience that you usually have to share with tens of thousands of other people. The Cute Beatle is just as charming and gifted when he’s a tiny speck on a far away stage as he is up close, but we’d be remiss if we said that the idea of seeing Macca in a teeny tiny club doesn’t sound awesome.
Some lucky fans will get that chance tonight, as Sir Paul is playing Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace near Joshua Tree. McCartney is playing the tiny venue in between stints at Desert Trip, the classic-rock Coachella in Indio, California. He announced the show on his website today, which costs a fair bit less than a Desert Trip ticket at $50.
The venue isn’t allowing fans to line up until 3 p.m. and the doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are purchased at the door, cash only and ticketbuyers have to enter the venue upon purchase. The show starts at 8:30 p.m.
