The Rolling Stones performed a surprise set for 1,200 truckers in Las Vegas

The Rolling Stones don’t typically play for crowds smaller than arena-size, so there’s no telling what kind of cash the semi truck company Freightliner shelled out to have the legends play a surprise set to a crowd of 1,200 at their annual customer appreciation dinner in Las Vegas. Still, The Stones showed up and ran through the hits inside the Bellagio conference room on October 3rd.

The set was mostly by-the-numbers with one interesting detour to play the Steel Wheels track “Mixed Emotions”. It was the first time that the band has trotted out that track live in over 25 years. (But, whatever. Call us when they play the Rice Krispies song.)

The Stones are working their way west to play the Desert Trip Festival in Indio, California and notably didn’t play any new songs from their upcoming blues-y album. Check out the setlist below:
