Sigur Rós announce 2017 North American tour

Sigur Rós have announced new North American tour dates scheduled for next spring. As was the case for their previous outing, the Icelandic outfit will tour as a trio with no opening act. With the exception of three shows in Los Angeles, where they’ll perform alongside the LA Philharmonic, the band will perform without string, brass, and other auxiliary musicians that have been a hallmark of live performances the past decades.

Each concert will feature two career-spanning sets (serparated by an intermission) with a custom visual show designed by the same team behind their previous Knights of Illumination award-winning tour.
