Blaine Sayers

Blaine Sayers - Senior Staff Writer

Blaine Sayers is a 25 year old English student who resides in Victoria, B.C. Canada. When not listening to countless hours of Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, Blaine can be found pouring drinks and beers at many bars around Victoria. Aside from his favorite bands, Blaine continually searches for new and exciting music. Always researching Rock and Roll history via rock bios, Blaine has read many books on Led Zeppelin, The Band, Jim Morrison, AC/DC, and Tom Petty to name a few. Recently he begun to share this knowledge of rock history with a bi-weekly feature for Consequence of Sound entitled Icons of Rock.  In addition to Icons of Rock, Blaine strives to present up to date album reviews and news to all CoS readers.

Living within close proximity to Vancouver, Seattle, and San Francisco Blaine has been able to attend many memorable concerts over the past 10 years. Always by his side at every show is his loyal and beautiful girlfriend, Karen. Together Blaine and Karen have seen all of their favorite artists and festivals including Coachella 07 and The Bridge School Benefit 06. To them these shows are great accomplishments in life. Blaine joined the Consequence of Sound staff to pursue a career in journalism and to share his knowledge of past and present music.
