David Lee Buchanan - Senior Staff Writer

To write a short, reliable biography takes time and effort.  Apparently, I have too much time and little motivation to talk about myself.  With that in mind, here’s a glimpse of David Buchanan.

I am 23 years old and a Virgo

No wait, this isn’t OKCupid.com!  My life is that of your average husband, parent, and friend (which to all I am equally devoted).  I am an avid music fan, with a penchant for dabbling in everything from modern rock radio and “hipster certified” indie to Swedish death metal and ’60s-’80s progressive (avid Floyd fan, here!).  My passion is poetry, feel free to explore ad infinitum via my MySpace profile.

Alex was kind enough to usher me in as an amateur, and let me spread my wings in a department unfamiliar to me – journalism.  I will never, under any circumstances resort to Kindergarten-style name-calling, nor will I engage in ‘flaming’ because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  The disappointment in mass media today is their willingness to twist facts, so trust me when I say do not intend to do such things, because it’s both rude and unapproachable.  I’d rather leave you with a bit of uncompromisable advice.
