David Buchanan
David Buchanan - Staff Writer
To write a short, reliable biography takes time and effort. Apparently, I have too much time and little motivation to talk about myself. With that in mind, here’s a glimpse of David Buchanan.
I am 23 years old and a Virgo? Wait, this isn’t OKCupid…let’s try again.
My life is that of your average husband, parent, and friend (which to all I am equally devoted). I am an avid music fan, and extremely picky about my own play lists while also willing to post non-biased reviews for those with different tastes. My personality ranges from an obsessed Pink Floyd junkie to your run-of-the-mill ‘metal head’ and ‘punk rocker’, whilst I also dabble in this and that.
My passion is poetry, and for anyone interested in reading it - feel free to click on my name from any comments I leave behind on Consequence of Sound (and there will be many). Alex was kind enough to usher me in as an amateur, and let me spread my wings in a department unfamiliar to me - journalism.
I will never, under any circumstances resort to Kindergarten-style name-calling, nor will I engage in ‘flaming’ because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The disappointment in mass media today is their willingness to twist facts, so trust me when I say do not intend to do such things, because it’s both rude and unapproachable.
If I had to say one thing about myself to make this a complete biography - I wouldn’t.
Why? Because I’d rather leave you with a bit of uncompromisable advice.
Tip of the Millenium: If a child asks why it is raining, tell them God is crying - if he asks why God is crying, tell him that it was probably something he did.
