Michael Roffman - President/Editor-in-Chief

Michael Roffman resides in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, where he completed his Master’s in Writing at DePaul University. In 2007, he graduated from Florida State University, receiving two Bachelor’s degrees in English and History. He’s only getting started, however, as he plans to begin his doctoral work within the next year, preferably in Seattle.

Outside education, Michael has a strong background in writing. He’s been published in campus newspapers, Tallahassee’s The FSView, one of the most widely circulated college newspapers in the country, and Chicago’s The DePaulia.

He’s written hundreds of articles, ranging from record reviews to interviewing entertainers in or out of town. Past talent includes: Wes Anderson, Jason Schwartzman, Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell, Greg Kinnear, Daniel Craig, Marc Forster, Darren Aronofsky, Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain.

In January of 2008, Michael became Editor-in-Chief for Consequence of Sound, dedicating much of his time to submitting articles and working with a team of writers on a day-to-day basis. He couldn’t be happier.
