Zarik Khan - Contributing Writer

Zarik Khan is a recent alumnus of Loyola University Chicago who lives in the business world by day but becomes a music lover at night. His musical journey began early in his childhood, when he was exposed to the mystical sounds of the Sufis as a child via his parents’ records and cassettes. After many aborted attempts at creating his own music which encompassed numerous genres, Zarik threw in the towel and figured that if you couldn’t join ‘em, you could write about ‘em–so he decided to start writing for Consequence of Sound in the hopes of feeding his appetite for music in a more productive manner.

In his spare time, Zarik enjoys hitting up random concerts in Chicago, lamenting suburban life, trying to run an online music radio station, cleaning up live music recordings, and being a die-hard Chicago Bulls fan (much to the amusement of his peers).
