Allison recently graduated from Auburn University where she obtained a bachelors degree in Anthropology and a minor in Women’s Studies. Despite her wishes, Allison is currently still stuck in Auburn, AL where she manages her own jewelry and clothing business and works as a freelance writer.
Writing is one of the many things that has continually kept Allison’s interests elevated. At the moment, she plans to pursue journalism before hopping into a taxidermy apprenticeship this coming summer. In addition, Allison is working diligently on launching her own clothing line and eventually plans to further her education by obtaining a PhD in Anthropology. However, for right now she’s just taking one thing at a time.
Now what does all this have to do with music? Well, Allison decided to team up with Consequence of Sound in the spring of 2007 to start building experience as a writer, while also enjoying herself. Music, as an experience has always been important to Allison from all perspectives. She particularly enjoys electro/jazzy/dance music and it’s essential that the following bands remain on repeat at all times: The Pixies, Gorillaz and Michael Jackson.
Keeping this all in mind, Allison eagerly awaits the day when she is able to toss all of her dreams aside and join the gypsy punk revolution alongside Gogol Bordello.
