Michael Roffman

President/Editor-in-Chief

Michael Roffman resides in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, where he completed his Master’s in Writing at DePaul University. In 2007, he graduated from Florida State University, earning two Bachelor’s degrees in English and History.

Outside education, however, Michael has a strong background in writing. He’s been published in campus newspapers: Tallahassee’s The FSView, one of the most widely circulated college newspapers in the country, and Chicago’s The DePaulia. He’s written hundreds of articles, ranging from record reviews to interviews with major entertainers. Past subjects include: Wes Anderson, Jason Schwartzman, Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell, Greg Kinnear, Daniel Craig, Marc Forster, Darren Aronofsky, Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain.

In January of 2008, Michael became President/Editor-in-Chief for Consequence of Sound, dedicating much of his time to submitting articles and working with a team of writers on a day-to-day basis. He couldn’t be happier.
