Harry Painter hails from Washington, D.C. by way of Livermore, California and in 2009 received a bachelor's degree in English from Saint Mary's College of California, where he was a journalist and section editor for its acclaimed newspaper The Collegian.

Harry is currently pursuing a master of arts in political science at American University.

He is a Coachella junkie, having not missed one since 2006. He usually just listens to whatever the kids are into these days. You can often catch him struggling to learn a Chopin song, struggling with his tennis serve, or struggling to remain a Golden State Warriors fan after all these years.
