Joe Marvilli was born and raised in one of the headquarters of music, New York City. He graduated from Fordham University Lincoln Center with a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies. With a concentration in journalism and his experience as the Assistant Online Editor of the Fordham Observer newspaper, Joe expanded his heavy interest in writing and technology into a career that keeps him prepared for the future of media.

Joe's love of music started at the beginning of the new millennium when he saw U2's music video for "Beautiful Day." From there, he discovered Radiohead, The Who, Arcade Fire, the few Beatles songs that weren't massive hits, and many other amazing artists. With an endless enthusiasm for new music, Consequence of Sound was the perfect place to write about what he loves. He started in the summer of 2009 and is proud to be part of the team.
