Cap Blackard - Art Director

Cap Blackard was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is pulled in an uncomfortable number of creative directions including: writing (all kinds), photography (all kinds), illustration (all kinds), and films (all kinds). He is also an impeccable dancer. South Floridian aesthetics play an important role in all his work as well as architecture, dreams, music, and the earth sciences.

Cap is the co-founder of Media Potluck, an eclectic media blog dedicated to covering (and uncovering) all sorts of off the beaten track media. Recently he’s become a co-host for a local FM radio show, where he discusses comic books, video games, and technology news. Because he has no aptitude for composing or performing music, his younger brother is building him a suit that will transform his movements into sound. Upon its completion he will write an album’s worth of love songs to an abandoned shopping mall.

Cap currently resides in Orlando, where the only good things are friends, natural springs, and a particular sandwich shop.
