The rumors are flying tonight, and they aren’t good. OutKast + RHCP + Tom Petty

Eh, both RHCP and Petty played NOLA within the past 2 years. That would rather disappointing.

some hopes for the june 19th release (i doubt we get a fraction of this but they are just wish list):

outkast
damon albarn
tune yards (unless they already playing nola)
Foo Fighters (I know they played surprise show, but a legitimate one at voodoo hasn’t happened)
The kills
pretty lights
herobust
dj snake
kendrick lamar
chvrches
Queens of the stone age
eagles of death metal
beck
big gigantic
janelle monae (hasn’t played in a while)
cake
sublime with rome
balkan beat box
chance the rapper
the national (have they ever played in nola?)
rodrigo y gabriela
de la soul
break science
m.i.a.
ozomatli
cut chemist/dj shadow
disclosure
lorde
thievery corporation
phantogram
death from above 1979 (new album in the works!)
modest mouse
childish gambino
iggy azalea (for my girlfriend lol)
run the jewels
john butler trio
glitch mob
flosstradamus

of course the nola regular in full swing.

They should let Galactic curate a jam stage or something like that. If we can get 4 or 5 of any i mentioned then that would be a step in the right direction for me…here is hoping!

Outkast seems obvious. I think Foo Fighters also, only because this is the first time in 7 years that I didn’t buy advanced ticket, and that’s all I have wanted to see. I’d rather see them at the arena though.

Not a single rumor with the lineup due out in a week or so? This is usually a pretty discussed festival on here. Kind of disappointing.

it’s almost time! Don’t worry we will get plenty of hate for the sub par lineup soon enough ! JK. Maybe the new owners will change thins for the better

LiveNation owns them now, but guess who is now the president of their North American festival division? That’s right. So same Voodoo .More sound bleed. Higher prices.
