Jacqueline Oakes - Director of Marketing/Advertising

Jackie obtained her Bachelor’s in Marketing and minor in Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 2008. She has gained valuable post-collegiate experience by working for NINE FM (99.9), Fleet Team Booking Agency, Platform One Entertainment, and has recently settled into the marketing/advertising department at CoS.

She was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago and desperately wants to live on the west coast. In addition to her four-year degree, Jackie also plans on continuing higher education by eventually getting her MBA.

When she’s not pushing her musical tastes on others, she enjoys reading, running, cooking, and scuba diving (not all at the same time). Some of her favorite artists include: Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, NIN, The Rosewood Thieves, Justice, Daft Punk, and The Mighty Boosh. With music being present in every other aspect of her life, Jackie is excited about the opportunity to work with Consequence of Sound not only to inform others, but also to learn much herself.
