Luke Johnson – Associate Editor

Somewhere in the ’90s, in an unassuming home in suburbia, Luke got his hands (and headphones) around a copy of Sugar’s File Under: Easy Listening. A music über-geek was born.

A voracious reader since high school, Luke cinched a couple of graduate-level creative writing classes under his belt while grabbing a BA in English and a Film Studies minor from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Bottom line, he likes a good story whether aural, visual, or text-ual.

Luke (due to his Film Studies minor) has written about film for years; however, his love of music and writing have only joined forces more recently. Always up for a challenge, one day Luke stumbled across Consequence of Sound, and thought, “Hey, this is a cool music blog.” Then later: “I wonder if they’ll let me write for them?” They did. Luke continues to write for CoS while also lending a hand in the editing department.
