			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Michael “Eyedea” Larsen , a celebrated rapper and freestylist, was found dead early Sunday morning. He was 28.</p>
<p>The rapper&#8217;s body found by his mother, who then shared the news via <a href="http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=154904894545542" target="_blank">Facebook</a>. The cause of death is not yet known.</p>
<p>A native of Minnesota, Eyedea rose to fame after strong showings at a number of free style rap battles, including the Scribble Jam battle in 1999 and HBO’s Blaze Battle in 2000. He would ultimately sign with label Rhymesayers and formed a partnership with DJ Abilities. Under the moniker Eyedea &amp; Abilities, the duo released three full-length efforts, including 2009&#8242;s <em>By the Throat</em>. He also frequently teamed up with high profile MC&#8217;s Aesop Rock and Sage Francis.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="www.myspace.com/themselves" target="_blank">Themselves</a>, aka the hip-hop duo of rapper Doseone and producer Jel, have announced a fall tour in support of their upcoming third album, <em>CrownsDown</em>. The endeavor will kick off in mid-November in Austin and runs a month before the boys cap things off with two nights in Salt Lake City, UT. Co-headlining with them for most of the dates is rap duo <a href="www.myspace.com/eyedeaandabilities" target="_blank">Eyedea &amp; Abilities</a>.</p>
<p>Declaring their return after a six year hiatus with <em>theFREEhoudini </em>mixtape, the team of rapper Doseone and producer Jel have moved quickly on their third album which is due Oct. 20 through <a href="anticon.com" target="_blank">Anticon Records</a>. According to a press release, <em>CrownsDown</em> have crafted a set of tracks that represent the &#8220;essential ten commandments of rap.&#8221; The album has been heavily influence by classic hip hop artists such as Public Enemy and Gang Starr.</p>
