When it comes to reunions, Brooklyn's Bell House will be getting a double serving on December 3rd.

When it comes to reunions, Brooklyn’s Bell House will be getting a double serving on December 3rd. On that day, both the Pulsars, the ’90s synth pop band that was once considered to be the “next big thing,” and U.K. indie rockers Field Music will reunite after lengthy absences for one hell of a reunion show. And, perhaps most incredibly, tickets are still on sale.

If you don’t know, the Pulsars (brothers Dave and Harry Trumfio) were one of the first bands to sign with Herb Albert and Jerry Moss’ Almo Sounds label. The band’s debut was released in 1997, but the followup was sidelined when Dave Trumfio’s production skills were suddenly in high demand. Some 12 years later, the band is again active, and while the December 3rd performance is currently billed as a one-off, the duo has talked about finishing its second album.

Field Music is returning from a much shorter break, with an extended lineup. While brothers Peter and David Brewis remain the two focal members, now included are Ian Black and Kev Dosdale, replacing keyboardist Andrew Moore (who is currently training to become a professional chef). The band’s Bell House set (as well as the rest of its upcoming tour dates) will come ahead of a new LP, Field Music (Measure), due out in February.

And just for kicks, two more acts are included on the bill for the Bell House show. Baltimore’s Wye Oak is, of course, the indie-folk duo that released The Knot earlier this year. The fourth band on the bill is simply listed as Rumors. Brooklyn Vegan has offered some speculation as to who these Rumors might be, but nothing has been confirmed.
