Masterpiece Reviews: Guns N’ Roses – “Appetite For Destruction”

on September 06, 2016, 6:00pm

Welcome to the latest edition of Masterpiece Reviews. Once again, we’ve thrown on our favorite velvet robe, turned up the fire, and are here to regale you with stories of the greatest and most classic albums of all time. It’s a fresh, new perspective on why these albums are filed under “M” for masterpiece.

Guns N’ Roses made their mark on the world of rock music with their 1987 debut album Appetite For Destruction. Featuring classic tracks including “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Sweet Child o’ Mine”, and “Paradise City”, Appetite made GnR the kings of California’s 80s Sunset Strip rock scene and bolstered their persona as “the most dangerous band in the world.” The album would become not just the biggest debut album of all time, but one of the best-selling records ever with over 30 million copies.
