Ten years later, Guster is “Lost and Gone Forever,” announces tour to celebrate

One thing you cannot fault Guster for is giving the fans what they want. The Boston outfit’s live shows are full of charm, lax taping policies, humor as well as great tunes which cause anyone to become an instant fan. From its live shows to its music, Guster has accumulated many diehard fans that have supported them from the beginning. For any underground band with a strong following there tends to be a defining moment in its career when they stop being the secret band that only you and a select few know and love to become a band where it seems like everyone loves them.

For Guster it was the 1999 album Lost and Gone Forever. Signing to a major label the album exposed the the quartet to the world. To celebrate the momentous ten year anniversary, the band is playing a small handful of headlining dates that will include two sets which will see the band playing the album in its entirety followed by a hits set. The tour starts on October 28th in Charlotte and includes a stop at Higher Ground in Vermont — the spot the band first kicked off the Lost and Gone Forever ten years ago — and ends on November 27th in New York in the historic Beacon Theater.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com.
