Ludo relives debut EP & LP with re-release, tour

on October 28, 2009, 1:45pm

Alt-rockers Ludo released their self-titled debut in 2004. They followed that up with an EP titled Broken Bride in 2005. Needless to say, the timing is right for the re-releases of both efforts, something which the band recently did — get them right now at your favorite music retailer!

The band is promoting the two records pretty hard, as evident by the forthcoming November west coast tour dates (see below) and the recently unveiled new music video.

The video is for “Save Our City,” one of the tracks from their rock opera EP. Directed by Benjamin Karis-Nix, the video is a cell-shaded affair, containing a ruined city, a group of scared kids, and an elderly, somewhat creepy man at a piano. A perfect release for the Halloween season, the animated video creates a horror-filled environment, with requisite graveyard and monster scene.

Ludo is also currently at work its major label followup to You’re Awful, I Love You and plan to hit the studio once again with Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Faith No More, Train). More on that when it happens.
