Lately, there’s a whole lotta Weezer going on. After all, the band’s about to drop its seventh studio LP, Raditude, on November 3rd. So, it makes sense that we’re getting tour dates, Letterman appearances, blankets, and now this new video.
Directed by Mark Webb ((500) Days of Summer), the video follows our favorite California dorks, all dolled up in their 1950’s best, rocking away in small town America. That is, until Odette Yustman strolls into town, literally driving everyone crazy. Arrows are shot, cars are crashed, and well, Rivers Cuomo is given an unnecessary facial shave. It’s pretty fun and looks pretty, too. And really, that’s all a Weezer video needs. If you’re familiar with the band’s back videography, you’ll know Rivers and Co. go for the funny bone rather than the tear ducts.
Raditude drops November 3rd, with select dates on the band’s intimate-yet-minimal tour going on-sale as early as this weekend.
