Last we saw Peter Wolf, the Bronx born musician was spending the summer of 2008 touring with Kid Rock and Rev. Run. Since then, he has hit the studio with equally eclectic collection of music for his first studio album in eight years.
Next March, Wolf will unveil Midnight Souvenirs, the long overdue followup to 2002’s Sleepless. And given the occasion, the former J. Geils Band frontman tapped the likes of Neko Case, Merle Haggard, and Shelby Lynne to serve as guest contributors.
Head on over to Spinner for quotes from Wolf as well as more details on some of the songs that will be included. A tracklist, release date, and tour dates (hopefully) are still forthcoming.
