Owen Pallett takes the Heartland on the road this April

on February 03, 2010, 9:05am

After dropping a five-star album earlier this month, Owen Pallett is going to be a busy man.  After all,  he’ll be spending the next few months tediously pleasing the masses with his unique blend of pop and orchestral arrangements. And if you want to bear witness to truly great music by the man formerly known as Final Fantasy, you can get your chance this April.

According to Pitchfork, Pallett will be on tour in his native Canada from February 6th through February 27th. He’ll then spend the next month in Europe, where the overseas excursion kicks off on March 12th in Portugal and ends on April 3rd in Berlin. Then, it’s one last stop in Toronto, ON and its off to the glimmering shores of the U.S. beginning on April 10th in Chicago, IL and wrapping up on May 11th in Portland, OR.

In the mean time, go check out the Simon Bookish remix to “Keep The Dog Quiet” below. Tickets go on sale February 5th at Ticketmaster.com.
