Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders announce U.S. tour

on March 26, 2010, 9:05am

Now that Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders have officially confirmed the April 20th release of their sophomore record Red Light Fever, the band has started gearing up for a brief stint across the U.S. in support of their upcoming album. Kicking off in San Diego a day before the album’s release, Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders will be running through a few major venues until early May. Along the way, they’ll also be making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 21.

Red Light Fever highlights Hawkins’ accomplished vocals and renowned drumming skills while paying homage to a vast spectrum of classic rock artists from the 70’s glam romp of “Way Down” to the Beatlesque ballad “Hell to Pay” and features a slew of guest artists including Elliot Easton (The Cars), Brian May and Roger Taylor (Queen), and of course fellow Foo Fighters bandmate Dave Grohl.
