Record Store Day 2010: What to Buy!

On Saturday, we celebrate what is perhaps the greatest day in music — Record Store Day! (You seriously didn’t think I was going to say day two of Coachella, did you)? For one day, every year, the conniving major labels, hard-working minors, our favorite artists, and us, the leak downloading fans, put our differences aside and celebrate the independent record store. With it comes a boat load of exclusive LPs, 12″‘s, 7″‘s, and cassettes,  that, come Sunday morning, will be virtually impossible to ever acquire again, unless you want to dole out thousands on e-Bay.

So, please, partake in the festivities! Get there early and buy, buy, buy! (Even if it means it’ll be the only actually legitimate music purchases you make all year.) And, in an effort to make your shopping experience a bit easier, here are some of our favorites releases set to be offered this year:

  • Blur – “Fool’s Day” [7″] [Parlophone]: First new single in seven years. 1000 copies. UK only.
