How to Destroy Angels to release debut EP for free

on May 27, 2010, 2:11pm

Another day, another piece of How to Destroy Angels news. This one is particularly cool though. In typical Trent Reznor trailblazing fashion, the band has announced that its debut self-titled EP will be released as a free download on June 1st. Plus, if you pre-order now (meaning, if you supply them with an email address), you’ll receive a free download of “The Believers”, which we first heard yesterday.

For $2 more dollars (bringing the total to $2), you can pre-order the HD package, which adds options for lossless audio (24-bit 44.1kHz WAV and 16-bit FLAC and Apple Lossless) and the music video for “The Space in Between” in 1080p Quicktime.

An actual physical copy of the EP remains slated for release on July 6th and, according to Amazon.com, will cost you only $6.98. So one way or another, you’re going to be getting some new Trent Reznor-related music for super cheap.

Meanwhile, How to Destroy Angels has also unveiled the EP’s artwork (see above), as well as some fancy new merchandise.
