Menomena details Mines

on May 19, 2010, 1:00pm

As we mentioned last month, Portland indie outfit Menomena will return this summer with its much anticipated fourth studio album, Mines. However, at that time, beyond the July 27th release date, details about the followup to 2007’s Friend and Foe were a bit limited. That’s why we’re back now to update you.

Per P4k, Mines will feature 11 tracks, all of which will be written in uppercase and all of which will make your iTunes library look a bit ugly. But beyond that, there isn’t much else to be unhappy about. After all, Mines’ artwork, as you can see to your right, is a 3D optical illusion and should provide hours of fun. So too will the album’s actual content, that is you put much stock in the below preview of “FIVE LITTLE ROOMS”. Just make sure you have your e-mail address handy.

Mines Tracklist:
01. QUEEN BLACK ACID
02. TAOS
03. KILLEMALL
04. DIRTY CARTOONS
05. TITHE
06. BOTE
07. LUNCHMEAT
08. OH PRETTY BOY, YOU’RE SUCH A BIG BOY
09. FIVE LITTLE ROOMS
10. SLEEPING BEAUTY
11. INTIL
