I’m not sure what’s more shocking. The fact that Gavin Rossdale and Bush have reunited after nine years away from the game or that their reunion will also include new music.
Both are true though. The grunge outfit’s first live date since 2001 will come at the Fontana, California based Epicenter music festival, where they’ll play alongside the likes of Eminem and Kiss on September 25th.
While there, we’re going to guess they’ll play their newly unveiled song “Afterlife” as well as a bunch of other numbers on their forthcoming fifth studio album Everything Always Now. According to Rossdale, the album was recorded in Maui with producer Bob Rock and will be released in October.
More Bush dates are rumored for this fall. In the meantime, experience how the 90s translate in 2010 by streaming “Afterlife” below. And before you ask, yes this is really happening.
