Adam Stephens heading out on the road with The Felice Brothers

on August 14, 2010, 12:30pm

Main Gallant Adam Stephens has announced plans for a seven-week fall tour with The Felice Brothers. The tour starts off with a headline show in his hometown of San Francisco on October 2nd, before Stephens joins up with The Felice Brothers in Portland on October 5th and heads out on a fairly extensive tour taking in 27 States and 34 venues. A brief stop across the border in Vancouver is also included.

Not content with his fall endeavors, Stephens is currently in the midst of a small solo tour, including some dates with Blitzen Trapper, which we reported previously.

Stephens is hitting the road, without his Two Gallants partner Tyson Vogel, to promote his forthcoming solo album, We Live On Cliffs, which will be released via Saddle Creek on September 28th. The album, which deals with love, loss and hope, has already been likened to “a young, reckless Johnny Cash, or a pre-electric Bob Dylan” by NME.

If this all sounds like it’s your thing, then head on over to Stephens website where you can download or stream the new track “The Cities That You’ve Burned”. As if that’s not enough, there’s also a behind the scenes look at the recording of the new album with a short film recorded in the studio and at Stephens’ home.

Tickets for the forthcoming tour with The Felice Brothers are available via Ticketmaster here. Some tickets for the ongoing tour are also available.
