Incubus, MGMT head Cypress Hill’s Smokeout 2010

on August 10, 2010, 1:00pm

One month before California voters had to the polls to decide on a marijuana legalization bill, some of music’s most weed-friendly acts will come together for a Smokeout.

On October 16th, Cypress Hill will host their annual Smokeout Festival at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino. This year’s bill will feature several heavy hitters, led by Incubus in what is their only scheduled North American performance of the year.

MGMT, Nas & Damian Marley, Manu Chao, and Deadmau5 are also set to perform, as are Living Legends, Living Colour, and Slightly Stoopid. Plus, Cypress Hill will perform their 1991 self-titled debut in its entirety.

Along with the music, the festival will also feature a full-scale medical marijuana expo, “massive munchie gardens,” and a 4:20 movie night screening “classic cannabis-themed films,” reports Pop & Hiss. That said, drugs are prohibited from the festival.

General admission tickets cost $75.00 and will go on sale starting Saturday, August 14th at 10 AM PST. VIP packages are also available. Visit Ticketfly.com for more information.
