Lil Wayne sent to solitary confinement for remainder of prison sentence

on October 04, 2010, 11:08pm

While the previous 209 days of his prison sentence saw life seemingly continue as normal as ever, it seems like Lil Wayne‘s luck finally run out. According to a report from the New York Daily News, the much celebrated MC has been banished to solitary confinement for the remainder of his sentence.

With his release scheduled for November 4th, Wayne will spend the next month in Rikers Island’s “punitive segregation” cell — which is affectionately called “The Bing” by other inmates. Weezy received the punishment after being discovered with musical-related contraband in May, but because priority for The Bing is given to inmates who commit violent infractions, the rapper wasn’t transferred until yesterday.

In all, Wayne will be locked up for 23 hours a day, with the other hour being dedicated to solo recreation time. He’ll have no human interaction, other than from prison guards delivering his beef sticks. What’s more, his phone privileges have been revoked to just one call a week.

That said, does anyone really doubt this is the last we’ll hear from Lil Wayne until November?
