If you were one those those (like myself) who thought Beady Eye, the new band from Liam Gallagher, would sound like a Oasis sans Noel, then you (and I) were wrong. Actually, as per the band’s newly unveiled first single, “Bring The Light”, Liam has crafted a throwback, 1960s inspired bar stomper, complete with a driving piano and passionate choruses that all clocks in under two minutes. So, yeah, way to defy expectations, Liam.
Beady Eye’s debut full length is due out in 2011. Stay tuned for updates.
