The White Stripes drop epic holiday gift package

on November 10, 2010, 2:28pm

On a day in which Jack White hinted at The White Stripes’ possible return, White’s label, Third Man Records, just solved your holiday gift dilemma. For $499, treat your White Stripes-loving husband/wife/son/daughter/co-worker/me/etc to a package which includes the following:

1 custom White Stripes portable record player
1 custom White Stripes turntable slip mat

3 custom White Stripes vinyl adapters (45 middles)
1 custom White Stripes Nixon headphones
1 White Stripes 7” red vinyl of “Merry Christmas From The White Stripes” (Includes ‘Candy Can Children’, ‘Silent Night’, and “ A Reading From The Story Of The Magi’
1 custom White Stripes record cleaning brush
1 White Stripes LP record box
1 White Stripes 7” record box

Of the aforementioned items (all of which will be coated in the band’s trademark candy stripes), the most obvious highlight appears to be the “Merry Christmas From The White Stripes” 7”, which Third Man says comes as a new pressing. And if that wasn’t a good enough reason to pick it up (money issues aside, of course), the set will be limited to just 333 copies, so only you, Jack, Meg, and 330 other people will be able to call it their own.

Along with The White Stripes set, a Third Man Records-focused package will also be available, featuring many of same items but with different artwork. This one won’t be limited, but it will still cost you $499.
