Very few things in this world are ever what they seem. For instance, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile isn’t actually made out of wieners; also, if you refer to the Batman in cricket, it has nothing to do with the Dark Knight. But if there’s anyone who knows the importance of reliability, it’s Raekwon. In the second offering from his upcoming Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, Raekwon and guests Ghostface Killah and Rick Ross stay as true as can be with “Molasses”, a sweet jam of jazzy samples stuck together with some of their trademark hardcore rhymes (Ross in particular seems to raise his game just a notch or two in the intensity department). Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang hits stores March 8th via Ice H20/EMI Records.
