One of the biggest perks of attending a large, diverse university is the free stuff student organizations manage to round up for the student body. Besides all of the free Chik-Fil-A, sodas, and t-shirts, schools usually put on free concerts too. While, some of the lineups do end up looking pretty cheesy, Vanderbilt University has been putting together stellar bills for almost 25 years.

Early versions of their Rites of Spring Festival featured names like Bo Diddley, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Roots, Run DMC, and the Violent Femmes to name a few, and the 2K+11 version of the gathering is proving to be just as good. For just $30, students can catch The National, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Matt and Kim, Kid Cudi, Sarah Bareilles, and Public Enemy take over the school’s Alumni Lawn between April 15th and 16th.

The general public can purchase advanced passes for $55 or pay $65 if they decide to walk up on the day of the show. The full schedule hasn’t been released yet, but single-day tickets are available for just $45. Tickets go on sale February 24th at 10 a.m. CST and are available at Vandy’s Sarratt Box Office, Ticketmaster, or SeatGeek. Complete ticketing information is available here.
