duran Watch: Duran Duran's live webcast concert

If there was ever a perfect time to teach out-of-touch mothers and fathers (you know, the ones who still use their 8-track players) how to use the Internet, it would most definitely be right now. Simply because their favorite New Wave band is about to take their show to the world wide web for a live concert webcast. That’s right. If you haven’t already heard, Duran Duran is teaming up with YouTube and Vevo to put on a show that what will feature none other than David Lynch in the director’s chair.

The show kicks off at 7 p.m. PST (10 p.m. EST), and while the band will be performing from the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles, fans from all over the world can still participate in a few different ways: They can submit a photo of their painted hands and/or faces and hope that it gets used in Lynch’s onstage art installation or use the Twitter hashtag, “#amexduranduran,” to ask Simon Le Bon & Co. some questions that will be aired during a pre-show interview.
